Someone on YT made a morphing animation out of the five Hubble pictures of V838 Monocerotis you can see on Neatorama today. It's really well-done. The pictures were taken over 2 years starting early 2002. ... more inside

It's a good thing they test these things first. This is the same phenomenon as destroyed the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, BTW.

Here's a spectacular moment from Stephen Fry's quiz show, Quite Interesting (series 2 episode 5). For a bonus, the panel is asked to rearrange magnetic letters on their boards to spell something interesting by the end of the show. Look what Carr comes up with, making use of all his letters.
